Donor Appreciation

AN OVERVIEW

The Great Turnaround is an entire, systematic and comprehensive program which is not based upon a name speaker but which utilizes a trained Presenter to apply the Exponential Fundraising system that Dr. Wilkinson has developed over the past 30 years. These are biblical principles that work, and they connect your donors to specific amounts and goals that you have specified and prayerfully considered with our Presenter and Representative during the very important meeting the day of the event. These needs are strategically tied into the message.

We've initiated programs to raise Strategic Partner - Level 1 from the national average of $115 up to $300. We've implemented a mid-range program for those who would give $1,200 or more. In the previous years, banquets averaged from 2 to 15 givers of $1,200. With the Strategic Partner - Level 2 "Thank You" gift, centers are averaging from 50 to 150 people giving $1,000 or more! And this is in over 50 centers.

DONOR APPRECIATION LEVELS

It is an integral and impactful component of the overall Exponential Fundraising experience which results in significant increases in the overall giving at the event. Furthermore, it creates a stronger bond between you and your donors and shows a sincere appreciation to them for rising up to help you fulfill the mission God has placed in your heart.

Each donor at all three levels is given a "Thank You" gift for their willingness to rise up for your Center:

• Strategic Partner - Level 1 (those who give $300 to $1,199) will receive a special Thank You gift box complete with Dr. Wilkinson's newest breakout book The God Pocket (hard cover), one personal God Pocket, You Were Born For This book (paper back), and the Why Pro-Life book (paper back).
• Strategic Partner - Level 2 - Year One (those who give $1,200 to $11,999) will receive a Mini-Library of 8 of Dr. Wilkinson's "Breakthrough Series" books (3 New York Times best-sellers), plus Andrew Murray's Book Living In His Presence.
• Strategic Partner - Level 2 - Year Two (those who give $1,200 to $11,999) will receive five of Dr. Wilkinson's 8-part DVD Curriculum Series (Prayer of Jabez, Secrets of the Vine, A Life God Rewards, Dream Giver, Vision of a Leader), Workbooks, and a mini portable DVD player.
• Strategic Partner - Level 3 (those who give $12,000 and above) will receive a special Thank You gift box (Level 1) complete with Dr. Wilkinson's newest breakout book The God Pocket (hard cover), a packet of 5 personal God Pockets, You Were Born For This book (paper back), and the Why Pro-Life book (paper back)
  
  They will also receive (Level 2 - Year One) a Mini-Library of 8 of Dr. Wilkinson's "Breakthrough Series" books (3 New York Times best-sellers), plus Andrew Murray's Book Living In His Presence.
  
  And finally, they will enjoy (Level 2 - Year Two) five of Dr. Wilkinson's 8-part DVD Curriculum Series (Prayer of Jabez, Secrets of the Vine, A Life God Rewards, Dream Giver, Vision of a Leader), Workbooks, and a mini portable DVD player.

EFFECTIVENESS

The Donor Appreciation Program ( DAP ) was born out of a very successful event in the latter part of 2010. The program has had a profound impact in significantly raising the NET (money left over at the end of the Banquet).

It became immediately evident that the large majority of donors truly enjoy receiving a “Thank You” for their decision to rise up to levels of giving that they had not previously considered. This simple act created a stronger “connection” for the donor to the Center and helped establish a greater percentage of donors who followed through on their pledges.

In 2011, the only Center to decide NOT to use the Donor Appreciation Program as part of their overall fundraising event raised 67% less funds than the LEAST of all the other events of the year.

In 2012, the DAP continued to be a blessing to Centers and Donors and we expect the same to continue throughout 2013.

It is important to note that the purpose of the DAP is to help communicate a sincere "Thank You" to your donors and to help provide the increase in funds needed by all Centers in order to fulfill their God-given mission of saving His children ( babies ) and helping women ( his daughters ).

COST

There is a cost. However, the cost is directly connected to the level of impact the Donor Appreciation Program has on your event. You pay nothing up front. We share the cost with your Center and we pay for shipping the gifts to and from your event. It is the unique combination of the message and the method. The compelling and moving message is woven together with our Exponential Fundraising method resulting in the donors having a greater connection to God's heart for women and babies and a desire to give at greater levels than they may have originally thought.
